Before you start

Everything to have ready before you launch a new vault on Base.

Check these four things before you open the deploy app.

Checklist

• Your creator coin is live on Base. For example, a Zora creator coin. Zora is where the coin lives; the vault is separate.
• You hold 100 million of it. The first deposit is 100 million coins.
• You have $499 USDC (or can pay by x402 or Stripe) for the launch fee.
• Your 4626 account can sign. Deploy and activation are both transactions you sign.

The $499 fee and the 100 million coin deposit are two separate things. Paying the fee doesn't replace the deposit. More on the launch fee.
