Buying and holding
Is "activated" the same as "trading live"?
No. Activation deposits the creator coin and creates the shares, but doesn't schedule the auction. A vault is trading live only after its auction settles and the ShareOFT/ETH market opens on Base. Vault lifecycle.
Where do I buy shares?
During a vault's auction, bid in the auction. After it's trading live, buy ShareOFT on any Base DEX. You don't need the 4626 app. Buy and hold shares.
Is the waitlist a token list?
No. As of 2026-09-05, the waitlist is for app access. It doesn't list tokens, and you don't need it to buy shares.
Which vaults exist today?
As of 2026-09-05, the first vault on Base is $AKITA (). Contract addresses.
Do I need ve4626 to buy or to enter the lottery?
No. ve4626 is optional and, as of 2026-09-05, in canary. Your personal boost is 1.0× until it is switched on; the v2 boost is documented but not live. Lock and vote.
What are my lottery odds?
Your buy in USD divided by 250,000, capped at 4% (reached at $10,000). The pot size doesn't change your odds. How the lottery works.
Launching a vault
What's the difference between the $499 fee and the 100M deposit?
The $499 USDC launch bundle unlocks deploy. The 100 million creator coin deposit funds the vault. The fee is not a substitute for the deposit: the vault cannot activate or finalize without exactly 100 million creator coins. Step 1: Pay the launch fee.
Do I need to do anything for Solana?
No. 25% of the ShareOFT bridges to Solana automatically at activation. The creator coin stays on Base, and Base trading and the lottery don't wait for the Solana pool. Shares on Solana.
How are shares split at launch?

What if my auction doesn't reach its minimum?
The unsold ShareOFT is returned and the auction is cleared so it can be relaunched. You don't deposit again. If the auction fails.
How many strategies can my vault use?
Five. Idle cash is not one of them. New vaults use Strategy 1 at 80%, Morpho lending at 10%, and leave 10% idle. Vault manual.
