Friends buy tradable shares () after a vault is trading live. You do not launch a vault. You are not in the fair-launch auction unless you bid.
Buy on Base once the /ETH book is live. Lottery runs on qualifying DEX buys. The waitlist is only if you want the app.

When you can buy
Activated is not trading live. After activation the fair-launch auction runs (ETH). After it settles, the only Base book is /ETH. That is when Friends buy on DEX.

Auction
The fair-launch auction sells for ETH. Bid if you want that price. Otherwise wait for the Base /ETH book. You are not in the auction just by holding a creator coin or joining the waitlist.
Lottery
Qualifying DEX buys of can enter the instant lottery (VRF). Wraps, deposits, and bridge receipts do not. Fees, auction, and lottery.
